Log your cardio and your lifting in one place

GymProgress lets you log every cardio session (running, cycling, rowing, swimming and more) in the same app as your strength workouts. You enter duration, distance, heart rate and calories, your pace is worked out for you, and your charts build themselves. It's free, with no subscription, on Android and in the browser.

Log your cardio and your lifting in one place

How it works

  1. 1

    Pick your activity

Open the Cardio page and tap Add. Pick running, walking, cycling, rowing, elliptical, swimming, jump rope, HIIT, or Other with your own title (boxing, hiking…).

  2. 2

    Enter your numbers

Only the duration is required. Add distance in km, calories, average and max heart rate if you have them. Just copy what the machine, your watch or your running app shows.

  3. 3

    Watch your progress

The session lands in your history. Your weekly summary and charts (distance, duration, pace, split by activity) update right away.

What you can do

Lifting and cardio in one app

No need for one log for the gym and another app for running.

9 activity types

Running, walking, cycling, rowing, elliptical, swimming, jump rope and HIIT are built in.

Duration, distance, heart rate, calories

You log duration in minutes and seconds, distance in kilometres, calories, and average and max heart rate.

Pace worked out for you

As soon as you enter a duration and a distance, the app shows your pace in minutes per kilometre.

Weekly summary and charts

At the top of the page you see this week's sessions, distance, duration and calories, compared with last week.

Manual entry, no GPS or watch

To be clear: GymProgress doesn't record your route with GPS and doesn't connect to any watch, Apple Health or Google Fit.

A clear, filterable history

Every session shows up in your cardio history with its activity, date, duration, distance and pace.

Who is it for?

You lift and do some cardio

You finish your sessions with 20 minutes on the bike or run at the weekend. Everything stays in one history, with no extra app.

You use the gym's cardio machines

Treadmill, rower, elliptical: the machine's screen gives you duration, distance and calories. Copy them in after your session and follow your progress week after week.

You're getting back into exercise

Brisk walks, jump rope, easy jogs: logging each outing helps you stay consistent. The weekly summary shows clearly whether you're moving more than before.
