A simple water reminder to help you drink enough, in the gym and beyond
GymProgress includes a Water page that sets a daily goal, counts your glasses and reminds you to drink. It is free, with no subscription, and lives in the same app as your strength and cardio log. Reminders are notifications from the Android app; on the web you can track your intake, but without notifications.

How it works
- 1
Set your goal
Enter your sex and body weight and the app suggests a daily goal. Keep it, or type your own target in millilitres.
- 2
Log what you drink
Pick a drink and a glass size, then tap to add it. Today's gauge fills up and shows how much is left.
- 3
Turn on reminders
On Android, choose the interval between reminders and your night window. Reminders stop on their own once you reach your goal.
What you can do
A calculated goal, or your own
The app starts from your body weight: roughly 35 ml per kilo for men and 31 ml per kilo for women, rounded to the nearest 50 ml.
14 drinks, not just water
Still or sparkling water, herbal tea, coconut water, green tea, tea, milk, soup, sports drink, juice, smoothie, protein shake, coffee and soda.
The glass size you actually use
Choose between 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 400 and 500 ml.
An editable daily log
Every drink shows up in today's list with its time.
Weekly, monthly and yearly stats
Charts show what you drank day by day against your goal.
Achievements and streaks
Your current streak counts the days in a row you hit your goal.
Reminders that respect your nights
In the Android app, pick a reminder every 30 min, 45 min, 1 h, 1 h 30, 2 h or 3 h.
Estimate your goal
A starting point: adjust it if you train a lot, it is hot, or your doctor says otherwise.
Who is it for?
You train at the gym
You already log your sessions in GymProgress, so your water intake sits in the same place. No second app needed to remember to refill your bottle before and after training.
You forget to drink at work
Regular reminders on Android bring you back to your glass during the day, and night mode keeps them from waking you up.
You just want a simple habit
One goal, one gauge, a streak. No paid tier and no complicated settings: add a glass with one tap and see where you stand.
